The history of Mitchell Appraisals:
Mitchell Appraisals was founded in 1988 by Bonnie Mitchell, Indiana's first female MAI-designated appraiser. Larry Mitchell, Bonnie's son and another MAI-designated appraiser, now owns the company.
After over 20 years in business, Mitchell Appraisals has grown to include seven appraisers, three of which are MAIs, with over 80 years of combined experience. Members of our staff stay actively involved with the real estate community, including: The Appraisal Institute, National Association of REALTORS, Institute for Professionals in Taxation, and National Council of Affordable Housing Market Analysts.
We now have over 200 clients including lending institutions, law firms, accounting firms, and private developers.
